The old trainstation in the part of the city, called Oker, inhabited the youthcenter Gleis95 until 2010. Founded in 1995 the youthcenter got the name Gleis95 (engl. Lane 95)
The youthcenter is still called Gleis 95 although it's was placed inside the "Adolf-Grimme-School" in 2010. Kids and youth also developing the look of the inside and help organising actions and activities.
Organised actions around the youth center aims to be a non-commercial alternative for free-time activities for kids and youngsters.
In our daily opening times you can use the following services
free-time area, containing:
- 1 x table football, 1 x pool table, 1 x darts + PS4
- Basketballcourt on the school yard
- creative area for DIY, casual games, etc.
getting profession help on:
- problems in school
- developing applications
- problems at home
- getting along with public administration
